Great place out in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful night sky. Very remote. Not busy. Hot during the summer!
Enjoyed camping and hiking! Pear cactus in bloom so that was beautiful. Lakes and river are up so vegetation is green. Quiet and nice!
Very nice place - we like going there. Peaceful and quiet.
Great camp sites. The kids loved the playground. The trails were fun to hike on. We got to feed the longhorns by hand (the kids loved that) They do it every day at 2pm. You can ask about it up at the Ranger office. If I could change one thing it would be to add hand soap to the bathroom. Otherwise make sure and bring your own.
Very beautiful place to go. We will definitely be back. Great for star gazing, fishing, hiking, and there are great photo opportunities. Bathrooms are clean and they have showers. Campsites are well maintained and there are Road Runners in and out of the campsites all day.
